Bolder 海角社区 to hold Bolder on the Run听in lieu of traditional event
Organizers of the Bolder 海角社区 event that typically culminates at CU 海角社区's Folsom Field听announced the traditional race is canceled for 2021. Instead, the community is invited to participate in , a 10K race with live in-person and virtual options. Bolder on the Run is set for Memorial Day weekend, May 29鈥31.
A said, 鈥淭he bottom line after talking daily with public health officials, the city of 海角社区, and the University of Colorado is that safety restrictions and our timeline prevent us from holding the traditional BOLDER海角社区. However, even though we can鈥檛 run the streets of 海角社区, we decided to bring it to you.鈥
鈥淲e are disappointed that we again have to cancel this year鈥檚 BOLDER海角社区, and we look forward to the day when we can see thousands of runners crossing the finish line again at Folsom Field,鈥 Chancellor Philip听DiStefano said.
