Indemnification
The State of Colorado authorized specific entities within the state to accept indemnification. The Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) at the º£½ÇÉçÇø is not authorized to provide indemnity on awards that are accepted under OCG’s authority.
CU º£½ÇÉçÇø is a nonprofit, public, and governmental institution of higher education with a primary focus on academics and research. CU º£½ÇÉçÇø cannot cover a sponsor’s loss. CU º£½ÇÉçÇø shall be responsible for its ownnegligent acts or omissions as covered under CU º£½ÇÉçÇø’s self-insurance policy.
