The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure the purposes of which are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at CUÌýº£½ÇÉçÇø. TheÌýcenter faculty membersÌýare affiliated with 13 differentÌýdepartments and institutesÌýat CUÌýº£½ÇÉçÇø. The Center for Neuroscience:Ìý

• Administers the CUÌýº£½ÇÉçÇø Neuroscience PhDÌýprogram
• Fosters interdisciplinary interdepartmental research and interaction
• Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at CUÌýº£½ÇÉçÇø
• Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
• Fosters interest in neuroscience among undergraduates at CUÌýº£½ÇÉçÇø
