Arctic climate change • Geospatial science • Environmental storytelling

I am a graduate student in Geography with a passion for Arctic research, environmental storytelling, and community-based science

My work centers on the intersection of climate change, geospatial science, and Indigenous knowledge systems, especially in Arctic and alpine regions. Currently, I'm a Graduate Student Research Assistant with the Arctic Rivers Project, where I help develop community-based Storylines of Change. These narrative tools blend local knowledge with scientific modeling to better understand and plan for environmental changes in Arctic communities.

Alongside my academic work, I’m also a Field Instructor with NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School), teaching and leading backcountry expeditions that combine wilderness skills with environmental learning. Additionally, I serve as the Outreach Coordinator for the Mountain and Glacier Initiative at Central Wyoming College, where I recruit and support volunteers in collecting climate data using portable sensors along high-altitude trails in the Rocky Mountain West.

My field experience includes GIS-based archaeological work in the Wind River Mountains, where I’ve helped excavate sites like the Wiggins Fork Buffalo Jump and conducted surveys at Dinwoody Glacier. I’ve also worked as a National Atmospheric Deposition Program technician with the USDA Forest Service.
