How long have you been working at CU?ÌýÌý
Almost 3 years.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?Ìý
I like to hike a lot in the mountains near º£½ÇÉçÇø. I like to look at the flowers.
Tell us something that might surprise us about you?ÌýÌý
Where I grew up in Northeast India, I never had to work.Ìý My father was the spiritual leader of the village and my family were important people.Ìý When I came to America at 19 years old, I had to learn English and how to work.Ìý My adopted American parents told me that no one knows who you are here and you must work.
What do you love about CU º£½ÇÉçÇø?ÌýÌý
º£½ÇÉçÇø is beautiful and the people are nice.Ìý I like that CU º£½ÇÉçÇø is a reliable employer and there are lots of benefits available for my two kids.
What is your favorite type of music?
Rock and roll.

Anti-racism course allows thousands to ‘engage with their identity’
Two Coursera courses taught by three members of the CU º£½ÇÉçÇø Community offer lessons about systemic and institutional racism, and the unequal history of race in the United States, which has disenfranchised Black Americans and other people of color.
The courses, Anti-Racism I and II, are free, open access, non-credit classes offered through Coursera and are available to all students and employees of the CU system. To enroll in the courses, go to the.
The courses also teach:
How to talk about race and racism;
How to distinguish between talking about race or racism and participating in racist acts;
How to use contemporary intersectional terminology through a provided glossary; and
How to define systemic and institutional racism.
