You may have read the May 29 CU �������� Today story regarding the 3 percent pay increases for classified staff. For those who are eligible for this increase, it will be effective July 1, 2018, and will be reflected on your July 31 paycheck. The article also links to some helpful FAQs about this increase and how it will work. A few reminders/clarifications regarding the increase include:

• There will not be merit (performance-based) increases this year for classified staff.��
• ​Staff who are already at their pay range max will get a one-time payout for the 3 percent.
• Classified pay range minimums will be increased by 2 percent effective July 1, 2018.
• This 3 percent across-the-board (ATB) increase does not apply to our University staff (OEP staff). University staff increases (for those who are eligible) will be determined based on performance ratings and will be announced after they have been approved by executive leadership.

Congratulations to the 44 mentor-mentee teams (89 individuals) who graduated the 2017-18 edition of the Infrastructure and Sustainability Mentor Program (ISMP). CU �������� Todayhighlighted the May 21 recognition ceremony.��The 2018–19 edition of the ISMP will begin in September, with the application process starting in August. Multiple Infrastructure and Sustainability staffers will be on stage when CU �������� hosts the second-annual Pac-12 Sustainability Conference July 11-12. The��conference aims to "continue to represent an elevated approach to enhancing sustainability efforts within collegiate athletics departments" while also providing an opportunity to "share best practices to transform college sports into a platform for environmental progress." On June 27, join hundreds of commuters from the University of Colorado for Bike to Work Day. It’s good for you and fun, too! CU is registered to compete in the Business Challenge. Sweet handmade trophies are awarded to the top-performing companies in each category, and all who register for Bike to Work Day are eligible for prizes. Make sure to also swing by the Bike Home Party Station at the UMC from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.��where you can hop on the blender bike to make your own smoothie, grab some snacks, win prizes��and more. Feeling motivated to launch a workout regimen but your home gym isn't quite up to par? The CU Recreation Center has you covered. CU �������� staff, including retirees, are eligible to purchase memberships to the rec center for not only themselves, but also for spouses/partners and dependent children. You can pay by the month via payroll deduction or by the semester. Oh, and if you want to try before you buy, the rec center has free entry on Fridays in June for all students, faculty and staff. Ready, set, pump iron.

Infrastructure and Sustainability IT will be hosting a training/help session for our new Windows 10 operating system, including tips and tricks like how to organize your desktop to save time. Two separate sessions will be held on Wednesday, June 13. The first is from 11 a.m. to noon, and the second is from 2 to 3 p.m. Both sessions are in RL-2 room 167. Facilities Management is offering another CPR and First Aid training session for staff from Outdoor Services,��Trades Services and Campus Building Services.
