Dear Infrastructure and Sustainability team,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The holiday season is always a time for me to reflect on how thankful I am to be a part of this great team.听Thank you for all you do to make CU 海角社区 great!听With the holidays and the end of the year ahead of us, I hope you will have a chance to take some much deserved time off, recharge and take care of yourselves.
Next week, we will show our gratitude at our annual Infrastructure and Sustainability Winter Appreciation Luncheon and awards ceremony. Unlike last year when we were unable to gather in person, this event marks the first time since before the pandemic for our team to come together, share a meal and celebrate our staff. This is one of my favorite events of the year. It gives us all a chance to connect with our colleagues from across the organization. I hope you are able to join us from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8 in the Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University Memorial Center.
Lastly, I am pleased to report that 66% of our Infrastructure and Sustainability staff completed the Campus Culture Survey. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences working at CU 海角社区 so we may work to create an inclusive environment where students, faculty and staff can thrive.听 Over the next several months, the campus will be reviewing and analyzing your feedback and I hope to be able to share the results with all of you next semester.
From the bottom of my heart: Thank you. I can鈥檛 express enough how much I appreciate the dedication you show for this university every day, and I look forward to seeing you next week.
With gratitude,
David Kang, vice chancellor for infrastructure and sustainability
