Director of Transportation and Distribution Services Tim Golden is one of four CU �������� staff members recently honored by Chancellor DiStefano as employee of the year. The annual awards focused this year on exceptional contributions of employees in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among his many contributions this year, Tim has coordinated the outfitting of over 500 labs, managed  the distribution of PPE supplies for the entire campus, adapted Buff Bus service levels in response to COVID-19, and redeveloped the campus distribution center to accommodate remote working, learning and teaching.

Every 10 years, the university updates its Campus Master Plan, which serves as the culmination of multiple recent planning projects like the Transportation Master Plan and the Housing Master Plan. It is important that staff input is taken into account while planning for the future improvement of buildings and outdoor spaces on campus. It is with great sadness that we inform you of the . John passed away at his home on the morning of Nov. 16. He had been a valued member of the team for many years, serving first as a contractor and then as an employee, most recently on the Utility Services team. John's knowledge, expertise and friendship will be missed. Please keep John’s family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

The Infrastructure & Sustainability Mentor Program (ISMP) holds our annual ISMP Gives program in the spirit of giving back to our community. This year ISMP Gives has teamed up with ��������’s Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) to help support families in need in our community.

All permanent I&S employees will be granted up to four days of admin leave to be used between Dec. 28 and Dec. 31, 2020. This is a well-deserved opportunity for employees to disconnect, relax and recharge. For those employees who need to come to campus to support operations, please work with your supervisor to schedule alternative dates. From Nov. 23 to Jan. 8, CU �������� faculty, staff and students with a Buff OneCard can bring their immediate family/members of their household to participate in the campus surveillance monitoring program. All participants must be asymptomatic.

COVID-19 monitoring tests (saliva) are also available to all asymptomatic staff, including those required to participate in testing based on their job duties.

It’s time to take a look at your Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions and make adjustments for 2021. While you can adjust contributions at any time, Employee Services recommends reviewing and updating your HSA contributions each year as contribution limits and annual expenses change.
