Jodie Ferrera is the director of business services and Stacy Lindholm is the senior executive advisor to the vice chancellor. Both had been serving interim roles.

Ferrera joined I&S’s accounting and finance department in 2011 after working as the accounting manager for the City of Louisville for eight years.

Lindholm has worked at the university since 2016 after working as an architectural designer/project manager in Denver and Breckenridge for 17 years.

Many of you are aware that Tom Christian has moved on from CU to take on a new role.�� As we search for Tom’s replacement, Tim Golden has agreed to serve as the interim assistant director of Transportation Services. Tim previously served as the director of Transportation and Distribution Services. After he retired in early 2022, he returned on a limited basis to help manage a few special projects.�� We greatly appreciate Tim’s willingness to help the team through this transition period.

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is still offering "zero fares" across its system as part of the . This collaborative, statewide initiative is designed to reduce ground-level ozone by increasing the use of public transit.

Current RTD customers will also benefit as they will not have to use or purchase fare products through Aug. 31, during Colorado’s high ozone season. 

In another win for CU ��������’s sustainability initiatives, two new electric Buff Buses have hit the streets. The campus has now replaced four aging diesel buses—the first two, made by New Flyer, joined the fleet in Nov. 2022.

On Wednesday, Aug. 16, staff from the Infrastructure and Sustainability (I&S) and Integrity, Safety and Compliance (ISC) departments are invited (and encouraged) to come together and dedicate a few hours of service back to our campus community. Our goal for the day is to engage with and give back to our campus. All registrants will receive lunch and a CU �������� branded multi tool.

With the continued increase in cost-of-living expenses, accessing food affordably is becoming more challenging. Through campus-based programs and community resources, the Basic Needs Center is here to connect our CU community with food assistance for everyday needs and in times of crisis. The mobile food pantry is free and open to CU �������� students, faculty and staff, as well as community members of �������� and Broomfield counties. Attendees may receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
