The Federal Interagency Sedimentation and Hydrologic Modeling (SEDHYD) Conference was held June聽24鈥28, 2019, in Reno, Nevada. David Neumann of CADSWES presented a study he co-authored, 鈥淩iver and Reservoir Operations Using RiverWare Within the Corps Water Management System (CWMS).鈥
In the class, held June聽12鈥14, 2019, Tim Magee and Mitch Clement of CADSWES introduced attendees to RiverWare optimization concepts and applications and facilitated hands-on exercises using sample models.
CADSWES is pleased to announce RiverWare version 7.5, available June 6, 2019. Highlights include: usability improvements for the workspace and the DMI connection to Excel; multiple enhancements to scripts, RPL predefined functions, and the model comparison tool; and a new, HTML-based documentation set.

"Quantifying and Evaluating the Impacts of Cooperation in Transboundary River Basins on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus: The Blue Nile Basin," was published in Science of the Total Environment, July聽15, 2018. The study uses a daily simulation model to explore the effects of three cooperation states on the economic gain of the Blue Nile Basin.
