This special event presented by the Center for Education on Social Responsibility at the Leeds School of Business in partnership with the º£½ÇÉçÇø Chamber, as part of the Conference on World Affairs, seeks to answer the question:

How can businesses collaborate with government and nonprofits to redefine products and services to design waste out, while minimizing negative environmental impacts in promotingÌýa more sustainable future at a profit?

Mark Meaney is a member of the City of º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Task Force on the Circular Economy, a public-private partnership meant to share best practices on how best to create an infrastructure to support the circular economy in º£½ÇÉçÇø.

After the Ellen Macarthur Foundation selected º£½ÇÉçÇø to become one of the 12 international cities in itsÌýCircular Cities Network, º£½ÇÉçÇø Mayor Suzanne Jones joined with º£½ÇÉçÇø’s Regional Sustainability Coordinator Jonathan Koehn to create the task force.
